Hey Scott, how confident are you on that Best Picture nomination for Inglourious Basterds. Personally, it is my favorite film of 2009 so far, but the Oscar buzz outside of Waltz has seemed minimal so far.
This is It, Ortega, and Betty White listed as possible, Mariah Carey predicted.
These are… interesting.
I watched Precious last night! It can be a best picture contender. I was impressed with the 3 actresses: Gabby, Monique and surprisingly, I dont want to admit this, MARIAH CAREY! She was awesome, she nailed her small part. I’m telling you, Mariah has a chance to be nominated with Monique. Maybe after Glitter, I thought she is just better singing high notes, but her performance proved it otherwise. Oh well…
Another best picture contender with great acting is The ROAD, the trailler looks promising to me with an excellent performance from Viggo. Maybe The Road deserves another look.
The Best Actress category should have Streep as #1! That’s all!
