Scott Feinberg is one of the film industry's most trusted awards analysts and has one of the world's best track records at forecasting the Academy Awards.

Feinberg, who studied film at Yale and Brandeis, also serves as an on-air entertainment contributor for WTNH, the ABC News affiliate in New Haven, CT. He previously contributed to OscarWatch.com and wrote "The Feinberg Files" blog for the Los Angeles Times.

Listed as an "Awards Oracle" five times by Variety, he correctly forecasted 20/24 Oscar winners in '04 and 21/24 Oscar winners in '06, placing first internationally among all pundits according to Variety.com. The projections he's proudest of making: the best picture nomination of "The Reader" over "The Dark Knight" in '09; the best picture nomination of "The Blind Side" in '10; the best actor nomination of Tobey Maguire at the Golden Globes in '10; and the best supporting actress win of Ruby Dee at the SAG Awards in '08. The projection he most wishes he had made but didn't: the best picture win of "Crash" in '06.
