SAD... BUT TRUE

As we count down the final hours to nominations, I thought I'd share a story about an incident that made me want to laugh and cry at the same time...

Maybe a week ago, I popped in on a screening of potential Best Picture nominee Bobby and decided to watch the final thirty minutes--the strongest part of the movie--with some college freshmen who were in the audience to hear what their response to the film would be. I was pleasantly surprised to hear very positive chatter about the film--granted, they seemed to mourn the fate of Elijah Wood more than Robert F. Kennedy, but they seemed to gauge the importance of the man the film was about.

Then, one of them turned to the others and said, "But I thought he was killed in a car?"
